The manly week.

When evil womans get mocked by other evil womans.
TV series: Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai
Episode: 21
The plan of Rika’s fake death was finally executed so all we got from Takano this week was just some massive ownage despair (oh, and a pathetic fanservice scene ^^). The rest of the episode involved the Yamainu tracking down Tomitake and Oishi taking on some traitor at the police station. Other than that, not much of an exciting episode since everything’s looking bright for the good guys. Takano hasn’t given up yet, though, so I’m looking forward for more of her crazy acts.
Where’s the love?

Koko still doesn’t know when to give up.
TV series: Da Capo II
Episode: 09
I feel kinda bad for Koko. I mean, it must feel pretty bad being ignored by your koibito during a trip and having a ROBOT as your rival in romance, but I guess it’s half her fault for being so ridiculously embarrassed about everything she does with the guy and for choosing one of the worst harem leads out there.
Yoshiyuki seems to be more concerned about Minatsu and that Maya girl than her own gf, yet he hasn’t got the balls to send her to the trash can. Instead, he accepts her invitation of going to some kind of shrine in the mountains where they can write their names so they can stay together forever. Yeah, suuuuure. But, wait! Let’s not forget about the mysterious phone call at the end! Which probably means that something unexpected happened and Yoshiyuki won’t be able to keep his promise with Koko after all…. Ha, I’m sure he didn’t even want to go in the first place, since he was like “lol sure whatever >w<” when she asked him out. <_<

Deer love… the only true love.
I don’t care if he ends with Minatsu or Yume anymore. I’m already tired of Koko… she’s so boring and slow as a turtle with her relationship. Let’s hope she finally gets killed off in the next week, so they can use ep. 11 for finding a new girlfriend for Yoshiyuki, ep. 12 for resolving the conflict between Minatsu/Maya and ep. 13 for the tragical BAD END.
No commentsThe best school festival ever.

…Not sure if I should say LOL or WTF.
TV series: Moyashimon
Episode: 07
Woah, this was funny and scary at the same time. I mean, which kind of university confines its students inside the campus for various days, obliges them to exchange their money for a fake currency so they can use it for buying stuff like food, and allows a group of weirdos wearing tights to steal their cash by following a bunch of bizarre rules. o_o This must be one of those hilarious-in-a-unique-way episodes that are so rare to find even on comedy shows. Didn’t expect to see something like this… it was so weird even for a show about microbes, but it certainly provided a good amount of laughs.
No commentsOh boy.

Fuuko slowly loses her “family”.
TV series: CLANNAD
Episode: 08
Indeed, now the only ones who still remember Fuu-chan are Nagisa and Tomoya. This episode consisted mainly of the reactions shown by those who once cared about Fuuko but now have forgotten about her existence. I particularly liked seeing Sunohara trying to regain his memories of that important person, but Sanae breaking into tears after realizing that she can’t see Fuuko anymore takes the cake as this week’s most emotional moment. Next week marks the end of this arc, so I guess I should prepare myself with a new box of tissues.
No commentsDango Tango.
It’s been a while since the CLANNAD movie got released, but the original soundtrack just came out today so I decided to check it out… even if I haven’t seen the film yet (I plan to watch it after CLANNAD TV ends, duh).
This OST contains a total of 27 tracks, 6 being vocal songs and the rest BGMs. I was going to post the track listing but it seems that some of the song titles contain spoilers o_o *gulp*. Instead, let’s talk a bit about my favorite tunes from it. ^^
Obviously, I was very pleased to find yet another version of Chiisana Tenohira. Yay, I simply don’t get tired of this song. You can listen to it here:

My biggest surprise would be finding… a new dango song! @_@ It’s called Dango Dango Dango and it’s pretty different to the Dango Daikazoku ED song. Here it is:

Something that got me very excited was seeing a track titled Nagisa. I was expecting it to be a new version of “our beloved main heroine”’s theme, but it ended being a completely different BGM. Too bad… it’s still a good song, I guess.

Lastly, there was a MagMell version in there called Megumeru ~frequency =>e Ver. but to me it sounded identical to the Cuckool Mix 2007 so I didn’t feel like posting it. <_<
… And here’s a random pick!

TV series: Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai
Episode: 20
Not much epicness this week, although it was nice to see more people being concerned about the upcoming Hinamizawa disaster and Rika getting more support from her friends. I can’t wait to see how the events of the festival unfold this time, especially with Keiichi/Satoko’s idea to make it look like Rika gets “killed”. ^^
