TV series: Da Capo II
Episode: 08

Basically, Yoshiyuki’s harem goes shopping, then Minatsu and Yume get separated from the group and, suddenly, on their way a giant evil billboard falls above them. Unfortunately, Minatsu enters yuri mode and sacrifices herself to save Yume. But OH WAIT MINATSU IS A ROBOT SO SHE DIDN’T GET HURT ololol. Hmm… I think it would’ve been better for the show itself if Yume had actually gotten injured, so Yoshiyuki would had to take care of her and dump Koko with that excuse. <_<

Anyways, the exciting part pretty much ends here. After the accident, Minatsu is sent to the hospital, where Mizukoshi-sensei decides to take her away for a while. Later that night, we see the gang having dinner at the Asakura sisters’ house, where Sakurai finally reveals to his friends that Minatsu is a robot. After that, Sakura appears from nowhere and brings Minatsu back to her buddies, who have promised to keep treating her as their friend. Huh, good for her.

So, what now? There are only 5 episodes left and I’m tired of the huge amount of Minatsu-centered ones. And the lack of interest from the other girls to snatch Koko from our hero is incredibly frustrating. Hopefully, the sakura petals floating by during the billboard scene and the suspicious look from that class representative might be an indication for more upcoming dramatic moments.

So we finally got ourselves an antagonist, huh.

Awesome! Too bad it’s only 3 episodes long.

But, hey, at least we won’t be getting crappy fillers.

OVA: Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations
Episode: 01

It’s official, the Tokyo Revelations OVA is great stuff. I think I’ve gotten more enjoyment from this episode alone than from all of the 26 episodes of TC’s lastest season. Everything, from the animation quality to the music (Yuki Kajiura FTW), was nicely done. My biggest complaint would be the lack of an awaken Sakura <_<, but I guess I should be glad they’re staying faithful to the manga. So… this first OVA covered the first 10 or so chapters from the ultra-plot-twisting Tokyo arc. Can’t wait to see next one.

Dango Craze vs. Hitode Love.

TV series: CLANNAD
Episode: 07

It seems we’re still on Fuuko’s Arc (I’m not sure why I thought it would end this week -_-). It doesn’t feel like it’s dragging out too much, but I wonder if 15 episodes (considering Fuu-chan’s story does end in two weeks) will be enough for the other girls.

Oh, it’s the FFF, or “Fun Fun Fuu-chan” club, AM I RITE.

Anyways, it was another good episode. The humour is still there (and, unlike Fuuko, it doesn’t seem like it’s going to fade away anytime soon), but this week was mostly about the sad things. Aside from the dramatic scene of Nagisa and Tomoya crying in the park, the thought of Fuuko being slowly and painfully forgotten by everybody is simply… depressing. If she is going to disappear (just like KEY girls love to do so), I hope at least her older sister gets married.

TV series: Moyashimon
Episode: 06

So this episode was dedicated to the character introduced last week, Aoi, a student who has returned to the academy after being left by Haruka in the middle of nowhere during one of their researches. In the beginning, Sawaki notices Aoi is being surrounded by deadly microbes so Haruka makes everybody spray her with some kind of microorganism-killing chemicals. Poor her.

Then, in the next part we see Aoi bringing Sawaki to her club, which is dedicated to UFO research LOL, but when they arrive, they find all of the members sick and surrounded by microbes. Sawaki quickly recognizes them as influenza, but it wasn’t that much of a surprise… since a closed room with a heater turned on (during spring WTF) and filled with filthy otakus pigs and chickens (they were using them as a food source WTFx2) usually means PROFIT for the little murderous guys.

In the end, the club gets rescued by a bunch of guys in orange uniform <_< so the gang goes to a bar to celebrate or something. There, they meet one of Aoi’s friends, Aya, who reveals to Sawaki and the others Aoi’s motive for creating the UFO research club. It seems she was abandoned by her boyfriend… but she thinks he didn’t really left her, rather she affirms he was abducted by aliens. <_< I wonder about that.

Is that chicken staring at Sawaki? o_o

TV series: Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai
Episode: 19

So Hanyuu has joined the party, yay! So it started out as a pretty funny episode, with Rena trying to omochikaeri’d Hanyuu and Keiichi getting owned again during club activities. Then, it got kinda interesting at the end when Rika told her friends to come up with good ideas for a manga, when what she really was doing was formulating an epic plan to defeat Takano. Oh, and it seems Rika did forgot about Takano being the murderer -_-, but Hanyuu came to save the day by telling her about her true moe-killer identity, heh.

Poor Rena. First they kill her in Onikakushi-hen, and now this?!

Yeah, I love this song. It’s from the CLANNAD visual novel, duh… Wonder if it’s going to be used on the TV adaptation (I love the “dango version”, but I’d like to hear the original one in the anime too). ^^;
