*gasp* Nobita!

Yay! I love Doraemon, so I really liked that parody at the beginning of the episode. Apparently, it was added because Noramimi’s concept of “having children adopt a freeloader character who helps them to become good adults” is based on Doraemon.

Anyways, here’s a short summary: Noramimi is the name of the protagonist of this show. He’s also one of those ‘animal characters’, but nobody has adopted him since he’s undoubtedly ugly so he’s currently working at a freeloader adoption agency.

The first part of the episode is about a bear character who’s been living with his owner for a pretty long time. The guy is already an adult, but he doesn’t want to let go of the poor animal, so the people in the agency convince him to go get a girlfriend. The second segment features a rather cute little bird character who befriends Noramimi and finds a new family in the end.

The Doraemon references didn’t end with the parody, though. During one of the scenes from the bear’s story, there’s a hamster looking for a new owner and he requests to be adopted by a dumb boy with glasses. ^^

Awww.

I think I might pick up this show, even if only because of the quirky mascots. I admit I found the singing bird incredibly cute, and that hamster was sort of humorous, so I’ll be looking forward to more characters like these.

Keep blogging? Possibly.
