Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de 01 – Not Hayate.

Oh, I need a pen like that.
Flavor: Mild
Initial reaction: More fanservice, NOOO.
Okay, there were some fanservice moments here and there, but in the end it wasn’t as bad as Rosario to Vampire or some other shows I’ve previously seen. It’s supposed to be an eroge adaptation, but it mostly feels like a romance-comedy show so far. I think there was only a single serious scene in this episode and the rest were just some hilarious stuff. Yes, I found some parts pretty amusing, and some of the characters they’ve shown so far seem quite suited for this kind of series.
Still, aside from having some famous seiyuus such as Tomokazu Seki and Yuuko Gotou, this show doesn’t have any other outstanding features… so I’m going to keep watching for a copule of weeks and see if it gets better.
Keep blogging? Maybe.

A shota, huh.
No commentsDango + SaiGAR = Does not compute…?
If you think that “dango” can’t be GAR and they’re part of this contest just as a joke entry, well… you’re completely wrong.

Or probably not. Whatever… it’d be nice if they win, since this is the year of the dango and all, but… everybody knows they don’t stand a chance against true manly characters such as Rika, Rena, Konata, Kyon, etc.
No commentsHatenkou Yuugi 01 – Meet yet another Legendary Duo.

Rahzel, the main character.
Flavor: Sweet
Initial reaction: Usso-n!
Now this was interesting. Having known nothing about “Dazzle”, I found the first scene where -Rahzel’s father tells her to “go see the world” and then kicks her out from home- quite odd… and sort of amusing. Then, after that Alzeid guy shows up, they send us directly to the actual plot without telling us anything about the main characters. Guess they’re going to give us more info about their respective backgrounds as the story progresses, which is not a bad choice… but made things a bit confusing at first.
Judging from this episode, seems the show will be about the three main characters going on a neverending journey, meeting people along the way and helping them to solve their problems using their magic powers and speech abilities. Yeah, this has both action and drama, so it seems this series could turn out to be quite good.
Keep blogging? Yes.

Left: Alzeid, Right: Baroqueheat.
H2O ~Footprints in the Sand~ 01 – The soul rocker.

The name of the girl who was “owned” by her classmates is Hayami.
Flavor: Mild
Initial reaction: WTH @ some guys bullying the main heroine.
So, winter season is finally here. I’m not gonna watch Rosario to Vampire since I already know it sucks, so let’s talk about the single episode I saw today.
As expected, this was a pretty dull beginning. The only interesting part was the bullying scene I mentioned in my initial reaction… the rest of the episode was just generic fanservice and some overdramatic stuff. The animation wasn’t that good… and I think that if I watch this after CLANNAD it’ll seem worse.
Also, I’m wondering if the H2O in the title is just a pun on the three main heroines’ names (Hayami, Hinata, Otoha), or if water is really going to be a recurring theme on the series. Whatever… I’ll keep following this show since I haven’t been disappointed with ZEXCS eroge adaptations so far.
Keep blogging? Sure, why not.

The name of Takuma’s imaginary friend is Otoha.
The calm before the….uh, snowstorm?

It’s time to say goodbye to the “happy new year” posts… since most sites will be back to the episode-blogging days pretty soon. The winter 2008 season officially starts for me tomorrow with H2O ~FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND~. Other shows I’m looking forward to are true tears, Spice and Wolf, Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de, Hatenkou Yuugi… and that’s it, I guess.
