H2O ~Footprints in the Sand~ 06 – New record.

February 07th, 2008 | Category: H2O

Yeah, this wasn’t a filler after all.

Flavor: Sweet

So, basically… Hirose, Hinata and Hayami were going to have their first friendly Nerine-style tamagoyaki meal together when, as expected, Yui arrives and starts a bitch fight with Hinata, ruining lunchtime. Later, Hayami and friends go to the city where they meet Yui and gang once again so this time they decide to go eating and do some shopping together. Yui doesn’t seem all that happy about it and she starts challenging Hayami to some random competitions, but she ends up failing miserably in all of them.

After that, Yui separates from the group but she gets lost or something like that and ends up in whats left of Kohinata’s house. She is later found by Hayami and then they show a flashback where they explain that Yui and the rest of the villagers hate Kohinata because her parents were doctors but they never really helped the sick people for some reason. One of the victims from this resulted being Yui’s jiichan.

So, in the end, Yui seems to have kind of reconcilliated with Hayami, so it’s another enemy less, I guess. Next week’s episode is called Hotaru, so we might confirm if the stuff about Otoha being Hinata’s sister spirit is really true or not.

Ookami to Koushinryou 05 – And tsundere wolves.

Not so much Lawrence x Horo stuff in this episode, but I still liked it. So, Horo was finally rescued this time but she wasn’t all that happy about it because of the way they did it, since she wanted Lawrence to come and rescue her by himself like a true man.

Anyways, we also got some nice revelations this week, with Chloe being the person who Horo previously recognized in the group who captured her. She even said some cruel things to her, like how it was time to forget about all this wolf-deity business so she’d hand her in to the church. Eh, I thought this Chloe girl was some sort of an anime-original character… didn’t think they’d involve her in the story that much.

true tears 05 – Late for the harem race.

Having lunch with the enemy.

First of all, let me say that I laughed at that scene where they decided to repeat the same stuff all over again just to show Hiromi’s point of view… For a few seconds, I didn’t know what the heck was going on until some users at NicoNico starting writing stuff like “-Hiromi’s vision-” and “TAKE2″.

Anyways, it’s funny how Aiko was the last girl to officially enter the harem circle, yet she might be the first one to confess her feelings to Shinichirou. Also, talking about Shin-chan, this episode has clearly confirmed that he’s an idiot. Well, other than that, not much stuff worth mentioning happened this week, but things will probably start to pick up in the next one.

Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de 05 – If it’s not broken, don’t fix it.

That pretty much sums up my opinion of this week’s episode.

Flavor: Mild

Woah, what’s with my Saturday shows trying to have something different from their usual stuff? First Shigofumi gets some humor, now they include some serious business scenes in KimiAru… yet this time I don’t think it actually benefited the series at all. I know this show is adapted from an eroge with some plot and stuff, but… seeing a long non-comical flashback about Venis’ past after all the hilarious moments they’ve shown so far seemed really out of place. KimiAru should be all about the parodies and funny fanservice… leave the rest for all these drama series out there.
