So, yeah, it’s been a while since I’ve posted something in my blog… and there’s no big reason other than I’ve been pretty busy lately. But, anyways, I’m finally back, so I figured I’d write my own spring preview as my “comeback” post.

So, let me start by saying that, after reading a lot of summaries and stuff, I already feel disappointed with this season because it’s like most of the shows don’t sound all that NEW and EXCITING. But, eh, whatever, here’s the list of series that I’m probably gonna end up watching:

Seto no Hanayome

Date: April 1st

Info: Supposedly, a harem comedy show about a boy who gets saved by a mermaid, and now he has to marry her or else he gets raped by her yakuza family. Whatever… I’ll always see it as some kind of Little Mermaid spin off with boobs and fanservice.

Thoughts: Um, I dunno. Looks nice.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

Date: April 1st

Info: Mecha anime series from GAINAX.

Thoughts: Well, on a second thought, I think I might just skip this show since it sounds like some sort of a kiddy version of Evangelion. Meh.

El Cazador de la Bruja

Date: April 2nd

Info: IT’S FREAKING NOIR BUT WITH A SPANISH NAME, HURRAY.

Thoughts: There’s something I must confess. I ****ing love .hack//SIGN. If you liked Kanon or Air, then you should watch that show ASAP since there’s no other show who can beat this series in terms of melodrama and emoeness. Well, anyway, I haven’t seen either Noir or Madlax before, but it’s being done by Bee Train, so this is definitely a must-see for me.

Saint Beast ~Kouin Jojishi Tenshi Tan~

Info: I don’t know what the heck is this this, but it has bishies on it so count me in.

Romeo x Juliet

Date: April 4th

Info: A romance show losely based on the popular play with the same name.

Thoughts: I predict this is most likely gonna turn into some kind of bad hentai series where a GAR Romeo gets to rape a manly Juliet every night and has hot BL sex with different characters during the day… but there hasn’t been any GONZO anime series that has disappointed me so far, so I highly doubt I’ll end up hating this.

Sola

Date: April 6th

Info: A vampire show where the main heroine is voiced by Mamiko Noto.

Thoughts: The characters in this sound pretty dumb (I mean, a guy who is obsessed with the sky WTF It’s like I’m not interested in watching what kind of perverted stuff he gets to do with the photos he takes!), and the overall series sounds like total crap, but I’ll probably still be watching it for the lulz.

Lucky * Star

Date: April 8th

Info: In the school, the four girls met. They began blabbing about a variety of interesting themes, from choco-coronets to wieners.

Thoughts: It’s being animated by KyoAni and the main character is voiced by Aya Hirano, so I can guarantee this is going to turn into the BEST. COMEDY. SHOW. EVAR.

And, yeah, that’s it. The rest of the shows pretty much look like ****. Let’s hope the summer season gets better stuff than this crap.
