Initial Reaction: Aww, no OP.

Well, I guess this one had a pretty decent start. Just like Kamen no Maid Guy, I watched this without knowing too many details about the light novels or whatever this was adapted from. The only thing I was expecting was for it to turn out into something like Spice and Wolf (but with foxgirls obviously), and looks like I was sorta wrong. Tenko slightly reminds me of Horo… and I suppose that’s the only similarity I managed to find. Haha.

Fortunately, this one looks much more interesting since it doesn’t have anything to do with ECONOMICS. I think this is gonna an “evil spirit of the week” kind of series, so I’m still not so sure if I want to keep watching this. It already looks a lot better than that other show with foxgirls, though.

Initial reaction: Da Crapo Suck Season kitaaaaaaaa!

Everybody must already know this, but… season one was a total piece of crap… and, even if they’ve decided to focus more on the magical side of the heroines, I highly doubt this is getting any better since it’s still being done by the same studio and, well, both Koko and the bitch sister are still there.

As for the first episode, I guess it wasn’t all that bad, though I’m not really that interested in the plot since I’ve already spoiled myself in some important parts of the story from the game, like bad endings and other stuff. The only reason I’m gonna be watching this is because of all the ridiculousness and flames this show gets.

Woah, that was certainly… weird. All I knew about this series was that it was based off of some comedy manga about a masked GAR maid, yet I never imagined everything would be that… eccentric. So, after all, I did end up laughing more than once, though ultimately the bad animation, the random usage of bizarre BGMs and the horrible fanservice ruined the episode for me. Meh, whatever, I wasn’t even planning on following this show anyways.

This was actually quite good. I mean, yeah, the male protagonist is a total dick, and the whole “house collapsing because of an earthquake that random guy banging his head against the wall” seemed like a pretty weak reason to simply make the girl and the idiot live in the same house…. but, I dunno, I think that after seeing both main characters’ personalities I’m now sorta curious to see how they end up getting all rabu rabu for each other… and, well, it’s been a while since I’ve seen one of these shoujo romance series, so I think I could keep following this. Guess I should watch a few episodes more before making up my mind about it.

Intitial reaction: Oh noes, it’s the Spider Queen arc!

xxxHOLiC Kei is one of the few shows I’ve been looking forward to from this new season, mostly because I love the manga and the first season was somewhat enjoyable.

Anyways, the first episode was pretty much the same as the manga. I think it covered around 2-3 chapters from the 7th volume, and from this onwards the series is kinda different from the first volumes since it focuses a lot more on the main characters’ (and that new girl Kohane) backgrounds and stuff and much less on all the weird customers who Yuuko gets in her shop, so it kinda got more interesting… at least for me.

So, yeah, I’m gonna be watching this show. There’s a certain arc I can’t really wait to see animated!

Next episode: Catgirls and bookworms. Ahhh.

Let’s see, um… random boob/butt shots during the OP, lots of girls, several boob shots throughout the episode, a sucky male protagonist with an annoying perverted friend, a bath scene, more boob shots in the ED… yeah, this is one of these shows, no doubt about it. So, will I be following this? Most likely not. Sorry, but I think all these obligatory sex scenes in the eroge/otome games I play are enough porn for me.
