Ah, well, Yoshiyuki has always ignored Yume and it's been implied that he actually "prefers" Otome over her, so I couldn't think of anything else during that one scene.

Also, I really loved the first Da Capo. This one, not so much.

It's amazing how differently we can see one show. I thought this was an excellent episode.

That scene between Yoshiyuki and Otome worked beautifully for me. He wasn't ignoring Yume; he and Otome were sharing the joy of seeing Yume coming.

I thought Takagaki Ayahi's voice-acting as Otome was absolutely first-rate in the last three episodes, after Otome had played almost no role in the first season and three quarters.

I'm not going to claim I like Yoshiyuki much -- he completely alienated me in season one -- but harem leads are not often very interesting. Anyway, season two of DC2 was far better than season one and ended for me as a pretty good series. Certainly worth watching, if you have any liking at all for this kind of show.

The series could have ended nicely at ep12, but it ends nicely here, too. Two great endings for the price of one, lol.

Da Capo is fated never to get enough love. It's always fairly rough, in look and plotting, but it usually (not last season) comes through for me.
