Haruka hugs Sawaki… while he recovers his ability to see microbes, I guess.

Okay, I would’ve given this a “Sweet” rating if it wasn’t for the fact that this is the last episode. I know the manga is still ongoing, but I wish they would’ve done a better conclusion for the problem that was presented last week. Even so, it was still amusing… just like all the previous episodes from this anime.

Final comment:  Moyashimon is probably the most bizarre show from the year. It began as a educational comedy show about microbes, but it didn’t let the premise wear out. Instead, they added some quirky humor and, with the whole cast of weird characters, it made the series quite fun to watch. Hopefully, there’ll be a second season for this.

Good thing it was really a funny scene, with Sawaki’s hair getting all saiyan-like and Hazuki seeing the whole thing. ^^ Also, it seems Sawaki is losing his ability to see microbes, so I guess they’re going to use that as the main conflict for the last episode, which is next week.

Episode: 09

This episode was focused on Haruka’s life as a member of a rich family, and bit of her past when she met Professor Itsuki for the first time… yet the most interesting moment of the week had nothing to do with these things.

Oh em gee.

If you were wondering where Kei has been all this time, now you know. That’s right, he’s been training to become a gothloli trap so he can seduce his sweetheart childhood friend Sawaki. Oh noes.

Words alone cannot express how random this episode was… so I’m gonna use a bunch of images too. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

No hesitation!

First, a bit of female fanservice.

…More fanservice.

Then we’re sent back to the whole balloon-popping business, where things have gotten out of control.

So, the male gang comes to save the day. Is that a loli in a bag? No, it’s Sawaki!

It turns out that the committee leader was in reality a robot. Hah.

Nonetheless, Sawaki manages to deliver the final blow and becomes a millionaire with the reward.

I forgot to mention this in the last post, but what the guys were really after was this stuff. It’s supposed to give you “luck” with girls, but when Hasegawa “tried” these items, apparently they didn’t work. Must have been a huge letdown. ^^

However, later that night, Haruka visits Misato and gets drunk. She starts “seducing” him, laughing uncontrollably and scratching his face to the point of making him bleed. LOL

At the same time, Hazuki and Aoi try Professor Itsuki’s “products” and fall in love with each other.

The next morning, Sawaki and Kawahama find Hasegawa sleeping on Misato’s lap, so they “take advantage of the situation” and fake the scene above to give Haruka a bigger surprise.

Meanwhile, Hazuki wakes up to find out she had wild-yuri-sex with Aoi. XD

Another fun Moyashimon episode full of WTF moments, indeed.

Woah, this was funny and scary at the same time. I mean, which kind of university confines its students inside the campus for various days, obliges them to exchange their money for a fake currency so they can use it for buying stuff like food, and allows a group of weirdos wearing tights to steal their cash by following a bunch of bizarre rules. o_o This must be one of those hilarious-in-a-unique-way episodes that are so rare to find even on comedy shows. Didn’t expect to see something like this… it was so weird even for a show about microbes, but it certainly provided a good amount of laughs.

Episode: 06

So this episode was dedicated to the character introduced last week, Aoi, a student who has returned to the academy after being left by Haruka in the middle of nowhere during one of their researches. In the beginning, Sawaki notices Aoi is being surrounded by deadly microbes so Haruka makes everybody spray her with some kind of microorganism-killing chemicals. Poor her.

Then, in the next part we see Aoi bringing Sawaki to her club, which is dedicated to UFO research LOL, but when they arrive, they find all of the members sick and surrounded by microbes. Sawaki quickly recognizes them as influenza, but it wasn’t that much of a surprise… since a closed room with a heater turned on (during spring WTF) and filled with filthy otakus pigs and chickens (they were using them as a food source WTFx2) usually means PROFIT for the little murderous guys.

In the end, the club gets rescued by a bunch of guys in orange uniform <_< so the gang goes to a bar to celebrate or something. There, they meet one of Aoi’s friends, Aya, who reveals to Sawaki and the others Aoi’s motive for creating the UFO research club. It seems she was abandoned by her boyfriend… but she thinks he didn’t really left her, rather she affirms he was abducted by aliens. <_< I wonder about that.

Is that chicken staring at Sawaki? o_o

Not much of an update, but I just added my blogging agenda to the sidebar. Yeah, it’s pretty simple… but I just started this blog so I still need to see how things work here before posting stuff like crazy.

Well, so far, I’ve written posts about both Da Capo II and CLANNAD. I’m going to use this friendly-little post to talk about the other shows that I’ll be ranting about “reviewing” too: Higurashi Kai and Moyashimon.

Rika vs. Fate: Match of the Millenium.

Everybody’s favorite Hinamizawa Tantei Club returns with a less-gory story-centered sequel. This time, Rika appears as the main protagonist (which is a good thing for Ni-paa~ fans like me ^_^;) trying to end, once and for all, the Hinamizawa’s monotonous and disastrous destiny. I know the last arc is about to end, but I’m still going to blog the few episodes left from this show because, surely, they’ll be epic. >_>

Moyashimon (or Tales of Agriculture, whatever) is about a guy who is able to see (and even touch LOL) bacteria and other microbe-stuff. I know the premise sounds pretty weird, but the show is just 11-episodes-long so I guess I’m going to follow it too. Besides, it’s kinda funny at times… and the Honey & Clover-style OP they’re using is awesome.
