Da Capo II S.S. 05 – Fission mailed.

Haha, take that!
Flavor: Sweet
This week’s episode was centered around the tsuntsun sister, yet for some reason I ended up enjoying it… maybe the fact that the animation quality was pretty high this time helped a bit.
Anyways, I’m sure there was also an ski trip event thing in the game, though I really doubt you could actually get to see it on Yume’s path. Huh, at least it was still a kinda important episode for Yume’s storyline, since the whole Yume trying to avoid the snow accident but failing in the end stuff was there to show that *spoiler, highlight to read* Yume is unable to alter the future, and whatever event she ends up foreseeing in her dreams is gonna happen anyways no matter how hard she tries to change everything… except in this case it’s like she didn’t even try because she practically decided to go out to ski in the end =P. Oh, well…

Flavor: Sour
Quite a dull episode since, aside from a little character development and some details from the main characters’ past that I had already figured out, not much important stuff happened in this one. You’d think by now they’d have already finished with the whole Christmas party and the puppet show preparations, but no. Instead, they decide to focus a bit on Otome and most of the episode was spent on a flashback of a childhood memory that I think we had already seen a part of it back in season one. Bah.
Oh, and remember Jun’ichi, the protagonist from the first Da Capo? Yeah, he’s back and he’s now there as an erojiji the Asakura sisters’ grampa. I’m sure Nemu is still there, though I doubt they’d really show her because, really… who wants to see a bishoujo heroine turned into an old hag anyways.

In the first season she seemed like a supporting character, but she’s in fact one of the main heroines in the game.
Flavor: Mild
This episode didn’t have robots saving kids or anything like that, but I still found it pretty ridiculous. My guess is that the people who worked on the game didn’t care that much about giving the rest of the girls other than Yume and Otome a decent story since they were filler heroines anyway (or maybe the ones who are doing an horrible job are the producers for this show lol).
So, yeah, this was an Anzu-centered episode. Based on what I’ve read about the game, her story is kinda connected to all the magical sakura tree business so I was fine with it being animated… but now that they’ve shown us a part of it, it has already brought me bad memories of the crappy Minatsu route that we got last year.
First, we have Yoshiyuki being again the one who strictly gets to help the girl and Anzu showing some emotions for the boy almost immediately. Then, we have the whole “wait your right, we’re actually Anzu’s friends! lol we gotta be nice to her so let’s make a party at her house!” thing from the rest of the gang which not only is stupid but ends up making everything plain booooooooring. And let’s not forget about how Anzu has been able to live there alone for all that long time!
Seriously, the only good thing from all of this was that Yume finally showed her deredere side and wasn’t that much of a bitch this time. But this episode wasn’t dedicated to her so it’s like it doesn’t matter anyway.
Next episode: … Mahou Shoujo Otome?

Initial reaction: Da Crapo Suck Season kitaaaaaaaa!
Everybody must already know this, but… season one was a total piece of crap… and, even if they’ve decided to focus more on the magical side of the heroines, I highly doubt this is getting any better since it’s still being done by the same studio and, well, both Koko and the bitch sister are still there.
As for the first episode, I guess it wasn’t all that bad, though I’m not really that interested in the plot since I’ve already spoiled myself in some important parts of the story from the game, like bad endings and other stuff. The only reason I’m gonna be watching this is because of all the ridiculousness and flames this show gets.
Keep blogging? Of course. XD

Episode: Da Capo – 13 (Finale)
Flavor: Sour
Well, the pathetic robot stuff has finally come to an end. I’m glad it did since it was just getting dumber and dumber every week. Now that Minatsu is out of the way, let’s look forward to the yet-to-be-confirmed second season (nevermind). DON’T SCREW IT THIS TIME FOLKS.
The day a Da Capo fan felt slightly relieved.

You’ve got to be kidding me.
Episode: Da Capo II – 12
Flavor: Sour
Monday… went to NicoNico… watched Da Capo’s lastest episode… another mediocre Minatsu one. Not only mediocre, but just plain stupid. First all the students were like “oh noes a robot, go away!!”, then Minatsu saves this kid from getting hit by a car and now everybody starts praising her. Huh? Aren’t you guys forgetting about the driver who caused the accident? And why are they expelling Minatsu from school? WTF This simply doesn’t make sense.
Then, after being absent for the whole episode, Koko shows up and f-i-n-a-l-l-y decides to break up with Yoshiyuki YAY… wait, what? Doesn’t that mean the hero will end alone since next week is the last episode? Bad end?!
