Special A 14 - I love you AND your money!

*shrugs* Another Akira episode.
Flavor: Mild
Well, after being forced to attend a commoners’ school for several days, looks like the SA members are back to their normal lives again… except for the fact that Akira has now been keeping in contact with Yui ever since then. One day, though, Yui decides to go and steal some expensive jewelry that she found on Akira’s room during one of her visits to the Toudou mansion. Then, in order to avoid Akira, she suddenly tells her that it’s troublesome for her when she does stuff like sending one of her luxurious cars to pick her up at her house and stuff, so from now on she isn’t coming to visit her anymore.

Antique Bakery 01 - The good old boys love…

…where you wouldn’t find any buttsecks, and stuff like the scene above was the most explicit they could ever get.
Flavor: Mild
Initial reaction: I SAW IT, I SAW CAKE FANSERVICE
Also known as… Seiyou Kottou Yougashiten
Okay, before anything else, here are some brief character introductions for the main guys of the show: First, we have Keiichirou Tachibana, who’s the owner of the Antique Bakery and who also seems to possess some kind of childhood trauma involving… a kidnapper who had a thing for sweet cakes, oh boy. Then, there’s Yusuke Ono, the famous gay of demonic charms. He refers to himself like that because he claims he has the ability to make any kind of guy fall in love with him instantly, but it looks like it doesn’t work with Tachibana since he like got rejected by him when they were on high school. And, finally, we have Eiji Kanda, a retired boxer… who only appeared for a few minutes in the whole episode talking with his old coach.
Oh and, well, there’s also Chikage Kobayakawa, who I think is the guy with sunglasses who showed up at the beginning of the episode… but I guess I won’t talk about him until he’s properly introduced in the series.

Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto ~Natsu Sora~ 01 - Stuff goes here.

I guess I should’ve just used “Someday’s Dreamers” as the title instead.
Flavor: Sour
Initial reaction: NICE BACKGROUNDS
I’ll be frank: I didn’t pay that much attention to what happened on the actual episode (although I’m sure I didn’t really miss that much since… I mean, we’re talking about a slice-of-life series here!). After Sora met with her mother, I kinda stopped caring about what the characters were talking about and, well, I probably spent the rest of the episode staring at the pretty backgrounds and scenery.
All I can remember from the whole thing is that Sora somehow managed to perform some kind of magic trick for her friend in order to help her a bit with her love confession, and that in the end she took a plane straight to Tokyo. I also have some foggy memories of seeing a bath scene, but I suppose that’s pretty much it.
Honestly, this doesn’t seem like a bad show… it’s just that I’m not sure if this is really something I could like. However, if I ever end up following this, it will be because I find it interesting… not relaxing or whatever.
Keep blogging? Not sure.

Sekirei 01 - Fight with the power of FANSERVICE!

Or with the power of kissing. Or boobs. Whatever.
Flavor: Sour
Initial reaction: So, the story is set in year 2020, huh. I never understood why people bother with these dates.
Well, this ended up being the first show I decided to check out from the whole batch of new summer anime series… last season, if I’m not mistaken, it was To Love-Ru. Coincidence? Absolutely, what else could it be?
Anyways, all I knew about this series is that it had boobs… and, yeah, they’re really everywhere. As expected, every single girl in this show, be it Musubi or one of the random villian sisters giving chase after the main female character, has enormous breasts. This, alongside the idiot male protagonist and the numerous ecchi moments, are enough reasons for me to skip this show.
The only thing that managed to catch my attention out of all of this is that it has kissing. However, it seems like they’re simply using the kissing as a “method” for the Ashikabi or whatever they’re called to activate the Sekirei’s full power. So, yeah, since “kissing with no romance = fail” and because of the fact that later on the series Minato is gonna have an entire harem of Sekirei going after him, it’s clear that I won’t be enjoying any of this.
Which means… I’m not gonna bother with this show. Woo.
Keep blogging? Most likely not.

About Cooking Mama 2 for Wii…
First, here are some screenshots which have been released recently:
Apparently, this game is gonna be called Cooking Mama World Kitchen, and it’ll be, what, already the fourth installment in the Cooking Mama series… which is gonna be available in stores sometime later this year. It looks like now you’ll be able to see your own character performing the different cooking tasks during the minigames… and, well, that’s the only new addition I’ve managed to come up by looking at the screens above. The rest seems like the usual slicing, grinding, egg-cracking stuff we’re already familiarized with.
I’d say something like “Hopefully, they’ll fix most of the flaws from the first Wii game!”… but they didn’t do anything of the sort with the DS sequel, so it’s safer to think that they won’t solve anything on this one either.

Special A 13 comes with a new OP sequence.

The new song is called “Gorgeous 4U” and it’s preformed by Jun Fukuyama, Tsubasa Yonaga, Hiro Shimono and Kazuma Horie… the voice actors for Kei, Jun, Tadashi and Ryuu respectively. The fact that this one doesn’t make my ears bleed already makes it infinitely better than the first one.
